My husband and I spent 8 wonderful days in Mai Khaolak Resort & Spa. Scooters and motorbikes are available for hire at the resort. We were more than happy with the room which was very roomy, very clean and more than met our needs. We also used other transport operators while we were here and can recommend Mr Woot. I had massages outside of the resort as well and went to the place that as you walk towards the beach you turn right, it was probably one of the best beach massages I have had in Thailand. The grey pullout couch looks onto one of the TVs and the mini bar that is seriously set up for families. The best massages etc i have had. All in all it was an excellent 10 days of relaxation and we will be returning for our next relaxed getaway. I don't know why people have complained about the noise from the kids etc., this is a pool, kids want to have fun and enjoy themselves for goodness sake. We were not disappointed. The beach is very nice and we loved sitting under the shade on the beach chairs after our walk on the beach. Overall we really liked the resort and it met all our needs. It contains an empty mini bar fridge, microwave, coffee percolator, kettle, complimentary coffee, tea and sugar. The pool is amazing and you will not miss the beach, still fine for a nice walk.
